Sewing Machine Salesperson Opening At: Maitland & Lady Lake
Do you love sewing, embroidering and serging? Would you enjoy talking about sewing machines and demoing the latest in greatest these machines offer? We are looking for self motivated, sales and support oriented individuals to join our machine department. Our Team Members go the extra mile to ensure each customer walks out with the products and knowledge to complete whatever sewing project they are embarking on.
We are currently seeking Part Time Machine Salesperson to work Weekdays and Weekends.
Scope:
- Provide exceptional customer service by understanding customers' sewing machine needs and offering suitable product recommendations. Utilize your in-depth knowledge of sewing machines, accessories, and related products to engage customers and drive sales.
- Conduct sewing machine demonstrations to showcase their features, functionalities, and benefits of different machines. Explain various techniques and capabilities to help customers make informed purchase decisions.
- Conduct one on one in depth sewing machine lessons.
- Assist customers with troubleshooting, maintenance questions, and minor repairs inquiries.
- Process customer transactions in our POS system in a fast, friendly and efficient manor.
- Complete other duties assigned by store manager.
- Be able to have a flexible schedule that may involve nights, weekends and holidays.
- Be able to lift and carry sewing machines.
Experience:
- Must have sewing and embroidery machine knowledge as well as a genuine interest for the industry.
- BabyLock, Brother, Janome or Juki experience is a plus.
- Sales experience is a plus.
- Must have basic computers skills including Windows based applications.
- Must be willing to learn our POS system.
Team Member And/Or Instructor Opening At: Maitland & Lady Lake

Our Team Members go the extra mile to ensure each customer walks out with the products and knowledge to complete whatever sewing project they are embarking on. As a team member you would join our team of "sewing obsessed" employees in sharing your special skill sets with our customers.

- Greet, Interact, and ask sewing related questions to customers to help them complete sewing related projects.
- Show customers product locations.
- Cut and Measure fabric for customers.
- Process customer transactions on our POS system in a fast, friendly and efficient manor.
- Complete other duties assigned by store manager.
- Be able to have a flexible schedule that may involve nights, weekends and holidays.
- Be able to lift and carry bolts of fabric and sewing machines.
Experience:
- Must have basic sewing skills and fabric knowledge
- Must have basic computers skills including Windows based applications. Must be willing to learn our POS system.
Quilting Machine (Long-Arm Machine) Installer / TechnicianOpening At: Maitland
Are you a people person that would enjoy assembling sewing machines as large as some rooms? Do you have some experience with quilting machines or sewing machines in general? We are looking for a mobile quilting machine technician that can assemble a quilt frame and machine at our clients homes and businesses. An average install takes between three and six hours and we average between one and three a month.
This is a "on call" position. We average between 1-3 long-arm installs a month.
Scope:
- Retrieve all necessary tools and products at The Sewing Studio.
- Drive to client location and install / repair long arm quilting machine.
- Give brief overview of quilting machine.
- Be able to have a flexible schedule.
- Be able to lift long arm machines and components.
Experience:
- Long-Arm or general sewing machine knowledge is a plus
