Description: Have you ever thought you could use your embroidery machine to quilt your quilts? Well now you can! This class will show you how, using a whole cloth technique. You will learn how to position an edge to edge quilting motif and line up the next motif for a connected overall quilted design. Supplies: Edge to Edge Quilting on your Embroidery Machine ASD201 (It is a book that includes a CD w/designs, available at front counter) USB stick to transfer designs to machine Embroidery Machine and largest hoop Minimum hoop size: 6x10 Crib size panel or 36x36 piece of cotton fabric Backing: should be at least 5 inches larger than the top on all sides Batting: Quilters Dream Request cotton: the same size as the Backing Cotton or all-purpose polyester thread to complement fabric choice (a close match to fabric is preferred.) Bobbins: wind several. Bobbin thread should be the same as the top thread 90/14 Micro-tex needle Lightweight tear away stabilizer such as Fundation Clover ½ " double sided basting tape Mettler Spray Web or 505 Spray Baste Marking pen or pencil and a flexible ruler Basic sewing supplies Notes: Bring lunch.
